Annotation:
What do we expect when we attend a show called Striptease? How does the actor seduce the spectator? How crucial is the difference between the expectations of the theatregoing public and of strip club customers? With humour and a sense of detachment the author strips dance theatre naked, ironically comparing two seemingly distant worlds.
Pere hails from Barcelona. After studying in Amsterdam, where he debuted successfully as a choreographer, he returned to his hometown as a dancer, creator and presenter of a TV show about dancing. In his work he eagerly appropriates elements of pop culture, which he plays with in original and inventive ways.
